YOUR COACH + CHEER SQUAD LEADER
Iâve been an endurance athlete nearly my entire life. First as a competitive rower, then as a lifelong (non-competitive) runner with plenty of triathlon, cycling, swimming, and big hikes mixed in.
After years of injury cycles (and a little nudge from menopause), I learned the hard way that endurance alone isnât enough.
Now, at 53, Iâm passionate about helping active women stay strong, mobile, and adventure-readyâwithout burning out. I bring deep credentials and even deeper enthusiasm to every program I create. (Honestly, Iâm a 6'4" cheerleader at heart; they just didnât make a uniform my size back in the day.)
NASM-certified personal trainer ⢠Girls Gone Strong Menopause Coaching Specialist ⢠Chief Training Director at Another Mother Runner for 10 years ⢠RRCA/Lydiard-certified running coach ⢠ACE-certified group fitness instructor ⢠Spinning instructorÂ

âThe 27th Mile speaks to the heart of every athlete whoâs had to pause, pivot, or let go. Itâs a compassionate guide for rediscovering yourself when running no longer defines youâand proof that thereâs still joy and purpose beyond the miles.âÂ
âElyse Kopecky, three-time New York Times bestselling coauthor, Run Fast. Eat Slow, Run Fast. Cook Fast. Eat Slow, and Rise & Run
âThis is not just a book; The 27th Mile offers a community in which we rethink our relationship with running and are given both tools and permission to thrive with or without it.âÂ
âDeena Kastor, Olympic Medalist, New York Times bestselling author of Let Your Mind Run
âAs any runner knows, not being able to run, or moving on from a running career, is one of the hardest and painful things that can be experienced. As a woman hanging on to her running by a thread, I am comforted to know that there is a guide waiting for me when I reach the end.â Â
âKara Goucher, two-time Olympian and New York Times bestselling author of The Longest Race
"Every runner's nightmare: the day when it ends, when the body says the glory days are gone, or, even worse, when it says no more. It's like losing your best friend. Preparation is everything, so read this now!"
âKathrine Switzer, marathon pioneer, women's running advocate, and author of Marathon Woman
